As you will know, 11m has been on a low for the last several years now. and membership in just about every international dx group has payed the price with there memberships, dropping like stones. But we are now on the climb back up again, and when this peeks, it will last a number of years.
The sun spot cycle is coming round again. 11m radio will once again "boom" Are you ready? Membership will once again boost for most groups,and here at the scottish hq,we are planning for this. We are looking to encourage operators to join us and become a better quality radio operator. We plan to apoint regional Directors that will manage there own region. I.E Director of Aberdeenshire.
This is a great move in making the group better managed in scotland.
If you are planning on becoming a member of this special family,and are from the 108 div, If you think you would like to take on a director job for your region, contact the scottish director with your info. Other countrys work the group in different ways,so if you are not from scotland. You must contact the Director of your country, you will find this info on the main Alfa Charly website. Each director in scotland will be expected to help in the group, To encourage membership of only the best of radio operators and to look after there region. This means directors will have the powers to act on and manage there region. The powers to "act and manage" Are in the hands on each regional director. But MUST be cleared by the director of scotland. We are looking for only the best operators in our group. And will not exept operators that abuse radio.
